I'm having some technical issues....

Okay, I'm doing this at school, which is very illegal (defined as "misuse of computer") so I gotta make this quick (don't ever say I've never done anything wrong)

Last Thursday morning, I pressed the on button my computer and it booted up and worked fine. In the afternoon, I pressed the on the button and nothing happened. It would not boot up. So the next day I called tech support. I spent the first hour listening to "hold music", which was a 5-minute song being repeated every time it ended. Of course, it drove me insane. Then I finally got to an expert. I got some Indian women (since Dell makes its computers in sweat shops in India. I could hardly understand her and had her repeat alomst every other sentance. We went into an hour of troubleshooting. The first part of it was the annoying obvious stuff ("Is the computer battery dead? Is it plugged in? Did you press the on button?") Then I had to take it apart. An hour later, the diagnosis was I needed a new motherboard. So the Dell technician will someday come over my house and fix my computer.

So that's why you haven't heard from me for a while. I have no internet, e-mail, IM or Xanga. It'll be some time before I get another motherboard, so you may continue to not hear from me. I running out of options as well. School ends in 4 days, so I can't use these computers (and it's also illegal). My parents' computer needs new software and a new modem, so I can't use that either. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to convince my sister to use her computer, but then again, she uses it a lot and is very possessive. So just remember I am not ignoring you.

An Evaluation of Children's Church Songs

I have an atypical daughter. Despite all the baby books stating that infants sleep 10-12 hours during the night, along with 2 hour-long naps...
